Baked Ricotta and Pear cake (Torta Ricotta & Pera)
When we asked the waiter to make us recommendations for dessert, he went through the list. We pressed him a little further and, with a cheeky smile, he admitted that the Baked Ricotta and Pear cake was his favourite. After following his lead, we can safely say it’s our favourite too. The cake serenaded our taste buds with sweet song from the very first smooth, velvety bite. From there, we headed towards a serious food coma. Thankfully with the full Italian experience, the cake goes down well with a coffee on the side.
